NQ Athletics Trials
On the 2nd of September we had a number of students compete at the NQ Athletics Trials (Red Track) in Townsville.
Ryder Vass, River Vass, Kayden Fabbro, Evie Prescott, Mila Caspanello, Archie Sgroi & Ben Watkins all competed and tried their best on the day against some fast competition. Not only coming 1st, 2nd or 3rd will get you into the NQ Qld team, you need to meet qualifying times, heights and distances.
A big Congratulations to Taylor Chapman who has been selected in the North Qld Team for the 800m after a great race, placing 1st and getting under the qualifying time. Taylor will now compete at the QLD Titles which will be held in Townsville next month.
