Mission Statement
St Colman’s Catholic School lives Jesus’ mission to serve others so that they “may have life, and have it in abundance” (Jn.10;10) by fostering the Mercy values of respect, courage and service.
In a nurturing and inclusive environment, students are inspired to be confident lifelong learners who share their gifts with the world.
Dear parents and friends,
In Week 4 I will be taking some long service leave till the end of Week 6. Mrs Kim Watkins will be acting principal during this time.
Our Prep students for 2026 will be starting their Connecting to Prep program next week which is a wonderful opportunity for them to get ready for “big school”
October - the month of Mary
Mary… who said “Yes” to God.
Mary… who visited Elizabeth.
Mary… who was with Jesus as he grew up in Nazareth.
Mary… who journeyed with Jesus and celebrated his life with her own.
The Rosary is especially remembered during the month of October. This beautiful prayer, which repeats the prayers of the “Our Father”, the “Hail Mary” and the “Glory Be,” can be said alone or with others. Rosary beads are often used to keep track of the number of prayers. In fact, the word, “bead,” actually comes from an Old English word meaning “prayer.”
