Burdekin Sweetest School Competition

This week our sugar cane was cut and will be tested for the final judging.  It looks very impressive and a big thank you to the Booth family for looking after our cane.  It was exciting to see it cut and then we got to taste the sugar.  A big thank you to Asha from Burdekin Productivity Services, Rian Swindley and Glen Betteridge for cutting and weighing our cane.  We can't wait to see the results.

On Friday 30th May after 6pm will be the First Fire at the Home Hill Show Grounds and the final results will be on Saturday 31st May at the Australian Cane Cutting Championships.  Kids are free and Adults are $10 for a day pass or $15 for a weekend pass.
