Acknowledgement of Country
We would like to acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land the Birri-Gubba Juru people and pay our respects to the elders past, present and future for they hold the memories, the traditions, the culture and hopes of Indigenous Australia.
Principal & Teaching and Learning Update
It has been a wonderful camp for Year 5&6 at Magnetic Island this week. It was very encouraging to see so many of our St Colman's students challenging their boundaries and completing or having a go at each activity.
It was also wonderful to see them going out and introducing themselves and including students from the three other schools: Hughden, Colinsville and Winton. Camp is a time to develop their independence and experience new and exciting things. Thank you to Mrs Anderson for supporting them over the camp.

Thank you to Mrs Courtney Anderson for all her support and work with the students. Thank you to the beautiful choir and Rita Sanarossa for her organ playing. A huge thank you to all those that helped set up the church and sewed material.

High jump was held at school on Thursday and was a tough competition. Congratulations to Eden Godfrey who broke the 10 years High Jump record of 1.11m to a new record of 1.14m. It was very exciting to see Eden jump so well.
On Friday the day started with a rowdy cheering competition from Wickham and Liechardart. Afterwards the students commenced their 100m sprints and the younger ages 50m. All students then broke into age groups and completed four activities stations: long jump, shot put, ball games and 200m (5 - 7yrs old novelty events). It was great to see the 5yrs- 8yrs having the opportunity to do long jump and shot put.
Home Hill High Canteen did a fantastic job on the lunch and we also would like to thank the groundsmen for their wonderful preparation of a quality field.
