Dear parents and friends,
Another term has flown past! Term 3 is planned and we are looking forward to the many diverse and interesting activities that have been devised. Next term I will have been in the Burdekin for a year ! I would like to thank the community for your support and friendship that you have shown me since our big move here. The school is moving forward and with your support I know we will continue to improve St Colman's School so it is a place for our children to learn and each child develops themselves to their full potential.
Congratulations to Mrs Shalon Gibson who was successful in gaining permanency for her position as Bursar and Administrative Officer. Shalon is doing a wonderful job and her friendly happy nature is an asset to our school.
Don’t forget to spread the word that enrolments are open for our Prep 2023 class. Next term we will continue to work with C & K Kindy and Genius Day Care to ensure that all Kindy students make a successful transition to Prep in 2023.
Hoping everyone has a restful and healthy holiday. Looking forward to the new challenges of Term 3.

Religious Education News
Congratulations to our Confirmation candidates who made their First reconciliation on Tuesday 21st June. It was a beautiful afternoon and we were all very proud of them. Please remember these students in your prayers and thoughts as they continue to prepare for their Confirmation on 31st July at 9am.
Refugee Week
In 2022, Refugee Week will be held from Sunday, 19th June to Saturday 25th June.
The theme is Healing.
Refugee Week aims to raise awareness about issues affecting refugees. It promotes harmony and togetherness within communities.
The theme of healing speaks to Australians and the rest of the world that we have an opportunity to reset the button on how we behave towards each other. Communities can come together to share their stories of hardship, to learn from each other and realise the connections we have as people.
